Welcome to the Metroplex Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Texas website serving Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant Counties.

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) was created to support the existing public health infrastructure especially during emergency response efforts.

In the event of a large-scale public health emergency, thousands of medical and non-medical volunteers will be needed to assist with Point of Dispensing (POD) site operations.

Volunteers interested in assisting with emergency response efforts throughout Texas can obtain information on how to register as a volunteer with the Department State Health Services at http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/comprep/protect
