Volunteer
To meet the varying needs of both volunteers and local public health and emergency response agencies, the Tarrant County Medical Reserve Corps (TCMRC) offers two levels of participation. Volunteers can select the level that best meets their interests and availability:
- Active — Volunteers who are available to assist during BOTH emergeny and non-emergency (community events).
- Standby —Volunteers who are ONLY available to assist in the aftermath of a large-scale public health emergency requiring activation of the MRC.
How do I register to volunteer:
All volunteers are required to complete the online registration process and complete and submit the required consent forms to the Tarrant County MRC Coordinator. Click here for instructions on using the online registration system.

What Type of Volunteers are Needed:
During a large-scale public health emergency, a variety of individuals will be needed to assist with set-up and operation of Point of Dispensing and/or emergency shelters. It is not possible to list all the professions, however some sample professions are listed below:
